Kupwara, Mar 22 : Amid prediction of more rains in parts of Kashmir, authorities in north Kashmir’s Kupwara ordered closure of the schools upto middle standard today.
An official told Kashmir Despatch that all schools upto 8th classes shall remained closed for today on 23 -03-2021 keeping in view the incliment weather conditions for the safety of students.
He said this is as per directions of DC Kupwara.
Pertinently, Majority of Kashmir parts including higher reaches as well as the plains received moderate to heavy rainfall on Monday, bringing down the temperature in the Valley while some higher reaches of the region received fresh snowfall.
