Kashmiri students in Kota start long bus journey to home

Srinagar, April 25 : Hundreds of students of different parts of Jammu and Kashmir studying in Kota Rajasthan have started on a road journey by SRTC buses to home on Sunday.

Jammu and Kashmir Students Association Spokesperson Nasir Khuehami told Kashmir Despatch that another batch of stranded Kashmiri students at Kota Rajasthan were finally shown way back to home after the intervene of Chief Minister Rajesthan Ashok Gehlot, Government Spokesperson Rohit Kansal, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Dr Shahid Iqbal Chowdhury and also other official. He said this batch is expected to reach home tomorrow.

Nasir said, this is second batch and we are working hard for making arrangements of transport for the students who are stuck in other states.

Earlier,About 140 stranded Kashmiri labourers were brought back from Shimla Himachal Pradesh in six buses after Himachal Pradesh government gave them the permission amid the coronavirus curfew.
