Kulgam, May 08 : The third terrorist eliminated in the South Kashmir’s Kulgam Gunfight has been identified as a Srinagar resident.
A Top official told Srinagar based news agency Kashmir Scroll that the third killed terrorist in the Redwani area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district has been identified as Momin Gulzar, a resident of the summer capital city Srinagar.
On Tuesday, top terrorist commander Basit Dar was among the two killed in the gunfight.
Pertinently, on Monday evening, following inputs about the presence of terrorists, a joint team of forces launched a cordon and search operation in the Redwani area.
As the joint team of forces zeroed in on the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired on the team, which was retaliated, triggering a gunfight. (KS)
