Leopard kills five sheeps, injured many in Pattan

Srinagar, May 03 : Atleast five sheeps were killed many injured in a leopard attack in north Kashmir’s Pattan on Sunday.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said panic gripped in the Checki Pusnag area of Pattan on Sunday after a leopard killed five sheeps and injured several others in the village.

Farooq Ahmad a local resident told Kashmir Despatch, that a leopard in wandering in the village since past few days due to which eveyone in the village is scared to go out. He said today at wee hours a leopard entered into the village and killed five sheeps and Injured many which adds more fear among the residents.

Meanwhile villagers appealed the concern Administration and wildlife department to take immediate steps to control this leopard sothat people will feel a sign of relief.
