Seven civilians including three minor were injured in a blast on Sunday near the encounter site in north Kashmir’s Handwara village, where Colonel, Major among 4 soldiers, police officer, 2 militants were killed in a night-long gunfight.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said, an explosion took place near the encounter site at Ahgam area of Handwara, injuring several civilians, however all were rushed to nearby hospital for treatment.
A police officer while confirming to Kashmir Despatch said atleast seven civilians were injured after an explosive device went off in Ahgam village which is close to the area where encounter took place, officer said all injured were taken to hospital for treatment.
