Man injured in Leopard attack in Tangmerg

Second Attack Since Morning, 5 Sheeps Killed Earlier in Pattan

Srinagar, May 03 : A 29 year old man this afternoon became a fresh victim of leopard attack in northern region of Kashmir.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said, yet again Leopard attack created panic among north Kashmir residents as in a fresh attack a 27 year old became victim in Tangmerg area of Baramulla this afternoon.

The injured identified as Manzoor Ahamd Bhat Son of Khazir Mohammad Bhat of Batu area of Tangmerg.

Reports said he was rushed to nearby hospital for treatment.

Pertinently, Leopard killed five sheeps and injured many in Checki Pusnag area of Pattan today morning.

Earlier this week atleast eight civilians were injured in Porupeth village of north Kashmir’s Handwara.
