Srinagar, April 20 : As COVID-19 lockdown have been extended till May 03, moreover its impact on education sector is not only hampering the life of students but forces them to face mentally depression and anxiety by not keeping updated to themselves.

A sigh of relief for education sector, mostly for primary and middle class students while they can attend online and DTH classes to keep themselves updated as per the education standard this was confirmed by Principal Secretary School Education Department Government of Jammu and Kashmir Dr Asgar Samoon.

Dr Samoon in a Tweet said all educational institutions will remain closed till May 03, however Kids should read text books and attend DTH classes and teachers to ensure home delivery of mid-day meal ration to all kids, should register left out parents with bank for DBT of cooking charges.

Meanwhile, in an order copy which lies with Kashmir Despatch reads, no school teacher to attend duties at schools as class work is suspended, all school teachers to stay at home till further orders. Only Headmasters, ZEOs, Principles, CEOs , HODs , Concerned Engineers involved in works, centrally sponsored schemes implementation or educational administrative matter are exempted and permitted but to maintain social distances.
