Control Room Also Established
Hajin: Municipal Committee Hajin has geared up its snow clearance preparedness by keeping its men and machinery ready on Thursday evening.
Speaking to this media, Chairman Municipal Committe Hajin Irshad Ahmad Wani said, “We have kept our men and machinery on alert to meet with any eventuality.”
He further said that we are monitoring the situation on the ground; it is presently snowing, and three to four inches of snow have already accumulated on roads.
He further said that we have also chalked out a strategy to clear snowfall from roads.
In case of heavy snowfall, our top priority will be to clear the roads leading to various hospitals and mosques.
“I have directed employees to remain present and vigilant.” Men and machinery have been geared up to dewater the waterlogged areas, if any, during snowfall Irshad said.
He added that one tractor with a clearing plough and bulldozer has been kept ready for snow clearance operations by MC Hajin.
We have established a control room that would monitor the progress of snow clearance and would also receive grievances and complaints post-snowfall.
