Desi Khan in a conversation with Kashmir Despatch said that he started listening to rap music when he was just 13. I used to listen to Eminem, Bohemia, and Ice Cube and it was while listening to these legends I got inspired and though on moving the same platform.
“I started writing in 2012 when I was in class 8th and recorded my first song Kan Khol in 2016 which was released on YouTube in 2018”, he added. “My journey has not been smooth. I had to wait outside the studious for hours to record my tracks. I always had focus and observed major problems in our society, which gave me inspiration always”, Desi Khan added.
People enjoyed listening to Desi Khan and enjoyed it. However, he was pressurized to remove the song “370”, which was on not removing Article 370.
“I never listened to what people said. I focused on my work and kept going had I listened to them I would have never achieved whatever I had right now”, said Desi Khan. After releasing four songs, I got an idea of opening a label which was inspired by world star Hip-hop which is a worldwide popular hip-hop music label and soon I launched one of my own”, he said.
“I firmly believe that everyone will be inspired by what I have started and the reason why I have opened this label is that I want to provide a platform for talented youth. I guess it would definitely pay for others to set up and dream big”, Desi Khan said.
