Omais Shafi, a young scholar from Sopore area of north Kashmir is one among few students who made it IIT Delhi in the department of Computer Sciences.
A PhD scholar working in the Department of Computer Science at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, Omais hails from Chinkipora Sopore.
IIT Delhi is ranked among the top 3 IITs every year.
Omais Shafi did his schooling from St. Josephs School Baramulla and was the 5th position holder in class 12 board examinations in year 2012. He completed his B. Tech from NIT Srinagar in 2016. He didn’t stopped here but went on to fulfill his dreams. IIT Delhi was one such dreams.
Not only has Omais made his parents proud but whole Sopore by making it to IIT Delhi.
“No matter how big a crowd may be, a student like Omais always stands out! With his hard work, he made us all proud. We love him and our wishes and prayers are with him always,” wrote Sameer Ahmad.
