Leh, Ladakh: The auspicious welcome ceremony of Pratham Sindhu Kumbh – 30th Sindhu Darshan Yatra was held today at NDS Memorial Ground, Leh Ladakh, marking the beginning of the most awaited mega spiritual and cultural celebration. The grand inaugural ceremony was held in the presence of 8 Nation Ambassadors and witnessed the participation of more than 3,500 people who gathered to experience this divine confluence of faith, culture, and national unity.
The event showcased the spirit of “One Nation, One Culture” through vibrant cultural performances presented by artists of North Zone Cultural Center and groups from various states across India, reflecting the country’s rich diversity and shared heritage.
The inauguration was graced by the presence of eminent national leaders, ambassadors, religious saints, social organizations, and dignitaries. The ceremony was attended by Ambassadors representing eight nations — Fiji, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Trinidad & Tobago, Ecuador, Chile, and Ireland — along with their spouses, adding international significance to the occasion.
Prominent personalities present on the occasion included Shri Indresh Kumar, National Executive Member, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS); Shri Rupesh Kumar, Member, Akhil Bharatiya RSS; religious saints from different faith traditions; representatives of Muslim Manch, Hindu Jagran Manch, Himalaya Parivar; several Members of Parliament, Members of Legislative Assemblies, prominent BJP leaders and prominent media personalities Kishore Ajwani.
The ceremony was also attended by key office bearers and dignitaries of Sindhu Darshan Yatra Samiti, including Shri Muralidhar Makhija, President, Sindhu Darshan Yatra Samiti; Shri Bhupinder Kansil, National General Secretary, Sindhu Darshan Yatra Samiti; and Shri Parmjit Singh Gill, National Working President, Himalaya Parivar.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Indresh Kumar ji shared a message highlighting the importance of nationality, unity, and the values that bind the nation together. He emphasized the significance of preserving India’s cultural identity and strengthening the spirit of togetherness among citizens.
