Militant killed, soldier injured in Pulwama Gunfight

Pulwama, Sep 27: An unidentified militant has been killed while an army soldier recieved injuries in an ongoing gunfight at Samboora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama District.

An official told Kashmir Despatch in an ongoing gunfight one militant has been killed sofar , while an army soldier also received injuries in an exchange of fire. He said injured soldier has been taken to MI hospital for treatment.

A police officer informed this newspaper that operation is in process, one militant has been killed sofar. He said lights has been installed.

Earleir, Army’s 50 RR, SOG and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Samboora village following inputs about the presence of some militants in the area.

The search operation turned into gunfight after hidding militants fired upon them.
