Pulwama, Dec 31 : Militants this evening offered a gun salute to slian Manzoor Ahmed Baba ahead of his death anniversary in southern region of Kashmir.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said that this evening a group of militants appeared in Drabgam area of Pulwama and fired few gunshots in the area as a tribute to slain Baba ahead of his death anniversary.
Slain Manzoor a Jaish-e-Mohammad militant was killed along with his associate Fardeen Ahmad Khandey and another militant after they launched an attack on CRPF training centre in Lethpora last year on 01 January 2018.
Meanwhile a police official when contacted denied such reports of gun salute and termed it baseless.
