NIA carries fresh raids in Srinagar, Delhi

Srinagar, Oct 29: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted fresh raids in parts of central Kashmir’s Srinagar District and in parts of National capital New Delhi on Thursday morning.

Official details available with Kashmir Despatch, NIA sleuths, accompanied by paramilitary CRPF and J&K police, raided many localities in Srinagar this morning including the house of Zaffar Akbar Bhat son of Mohammad Jabbar Bhat of Usmania Colony Bagimehtab and also raided few locations in Delhi.

NIA searches in parts of Kashmir were underway when last reports came in.

Pertinently, The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday conducted searches at 10 locations in Kashmir valley, including the offices of a Srinagar based Greater Kashmir Trust. It also raided one location in Southern Indian city Bangalore.
