Non-local labourer found dead in Qazigund village

Srinagar : Police on Thursday recovered a body of the 28-year-old non-local labourer from a village in south Kashmir’s Qazigund.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said locals on Thursday spotted the body lying on road in Nipora village of Qazigund and informed the police station concerned accordingly.

A police officer told this Newspaper that soon after receiving the information about it, a police team reached the spot and recovered the body.

The officer identified the deceased as Shamjeet Bharman son of Shiv Shankar Bharman , a resident of West Bengal who was working as a labourer in Plywood factory in Mir Bazar.

Officer further said that a case in this regard has been registered and further investigation has been initiated.
