Kupwara, Nov 16 : One person died while another sustained injuries in a road mishap in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Monday evening.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said an accident took place at Karnah area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara on Monday evening when a vehicle bearing registration number JK09-2850 met with an accident resulting in Injuries to two persons.
However, both the injured were taken to nearby hospital where one among them succumbed to his injures.
Meanwhile a police officer also confirmed this road mishap to Kashmir Despatch and Identified deceased as Shavaz Ahmad of Thandakhta Karnah while injured identified as Fida Hussain of Dildar Karnah.
The officer said that a case in this regard has been registered and further investigation has been initiated.
