Srinagar, Mar 27 : The students who recently came from abroad and are now under quarantine at various hotels in Srinagar allege that the authorities are not providing them proper facilities.

Scores of parents of the students told that their wards complained of lack of facilities in the hotels which were declared quarantine centres.

“We fear they might be taken ill as the temperature has decreased since past few days due to continuous rains,” they said. “Our kids told us that they are not being treated well. They are being provided cold food, which is against norms.”

“My son is not well. He is unsafe there. If authorities are not able to accommodate them properly then we should be allowed to meet them so that they will not have to suffer much,” a parent whose son returned from Bangladesh said.
