PDP Demands Government Assistance To Kashmiri Fire Victims At Hyderabad Exhibition

PDP Chief Spokesperson Rafi Ahmad Mir has demanded the state Government to provide immediate assistance to Kashmir based craftsmen who were participating in annual exhibition at Hyderabad. A massive fire that broke out at Numaish, an annual exhibition held in Hyderabad on Wednesday.

Mir said that around 300 stalls from Kashmir had set up shop there and stock worth crores have been damaged, state government needs to intervene, he demanded. Mir urged the Governor Satya Pal Malik to appoint a special liaison officer to provide them succour.

Expressing grief over the fire incident Mir said that it is unfortunate that most of the Kashmiri shopkeepers have suffered and there is no goods insurance, its moral duty of the Governor to act upon and provide them relief’.

These are young entrepreneurs who pinned hope on this exhibition, now they are distress, we urge the Governor sahib to intervene ”.
