Awantipora 11 Dec : Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Police have arrested lady drug peddler in Awantipora and recovered contraband substances from her possession.
Police Station Awantipora received reliable information regarding presence of contraband in a residential house at Larkipora.
Accordingly police party of Police Station Awantipora under the supervision of SDPO Awantipora and SHO PS Awantipora Shri Khalid Fayaz along with Tehsildar Awantipora raided the said house. During the search, 20.500 KGs of Charas like substance was recovered from the possession of one lady drug peddler, who was identified as Fareeda Akhter R/O Larkipora.
Accordingly, case FIR No. 173/2024 under relevant sections of law have been registered at police Station Awantipora & investigations have been initiated.
