Political activist shot dead by gunmen in Budgam

Budgam, Sep 23 : A political activist shot dead by suspected gunmen in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on late Wednesday.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said a political activist late this evening was fired upon by unknown at his residence at Dalwach area of Budgam and injured him critically.
However, he was rushed to the nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
As per reliable sources the deceased Identified as Bhupinder Singh was block development chairperson of block Khag in Budgam district.
Meanwhile, whole area has been cornoded to nab the attackers.
A police officer also confirmed the killing of political activist to Kashmir Despatch and said searches have been launched to nab the attackers.
