SRINAGAR, Sep 11: National Conference leader and former legislator Qaiser Jamsheed Lone on Friday paid glowing tributes to his uncles including former minister Mushtaq Ahmed Lone and Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Lone on their 18th death anniversary.
“It’s heart-rending not being able to be at Sogam to commemorate the 18th death anniversary of my uncles, our great leader late Mushtaq Ahmed Lone and Ghulam Mohiuddin Lone. Mushtaq sahb was a leader of the masses, true representative and emancipator of the poor and downtrodden,” Qaiser tweeted.
He has added: “Mushtaq saheb’s contribution as an administrator and minister (even though for a short span) is unforgettable and praiseworthy. Whereas Mohiuddin saheb was a man with a golden heart, a true king maker and an ace businessman. I have vowed and tried to lead my people on principals laid by these men. Please join me in paying glowing tributes to both of them, May they rest in the highest echelons of Jannah. Aameen.”
