Release, shift all Kashmiri detainees to honor human rights: JKCSF

Srinagar, Nov 21: jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum on Saturday has demanded the immediate breakthrough in the deadlock of the release/ shifting of Kashmiri detainees who have been langushing in different jails and detention centres outside J&K amounting to multidimensional and complex problems of these detainees and there families with respect to their health and uncertain future of their cases. 
In a statement JKCSF Chairman Abdul Qayoom Wani said that thousands of Kashmiris of versatile nature comprising political, non political and religious leaders have been languishing in jails for years now and nobody talks about their plea and future. Back home their families have been in utter pain agony and distress going from pillar to post for want of justice but of no use as there has been no substantial outcome of their struggle so for.
The voices that were previously raising alarms for these detainees too have been muzzled and now hardly we see and hear any voices rasing a cry of pain for the sufferers that too in a much claimed democratic set up.
Elderly leaders of Kashmiri people including kashmir of all shades and young boys have no access to basic amenities in jails and their health is deteriorating continuously which is a matter of grim concern collectively for the mankind.
Some detaineses who are aged and senior citizens are fighting chronic ailments, whileas family members of some detainees back home suffer from dreadful diseases like cancer and have nobody to care for. Even in the times of pandemic COVID 19 these detainess and there families were given no relaxation on humanitarion grounds and they suffered on many fronts.
Wani said that some leaders are languishing in the prolonged house detentions are facing multiple problems should be released at an earliest..
JKCSF Charirman Abdul Qayoom Wani said that a fair trial should be run in all cases promptly to grant justice to these detainees. Not withstanding the detention without trial and having no cases agaist them all such detainees should be released without any further delay. All elderly detainees should be shifted to Srinagar so that their families can meet them and they can spend time well according to local environment suitable to their health. Wani said.
JKCSF vehemently demands that those detainees against whom there are no cases should be released, and for those who have cases should be promptly resolved and elderly and patients should be shifted to Srinagar besides political prisoners should be released under the democratic set up.
