Bandipora, Jan 24: Several workers and political activists of Jammu and Kashmir Apni party and other political parties Sunday joined the PDP in Aloosa village of Bandipora district.
In a statement, an official spokesperson said that the workers and political activists joined the PDP in the presence of party zone president Bandipora and senior party functionaries in Aloosa panchayat block.
He said that the new entrants were felicitated and warmly welcomed into the party fold by the senior party functionaries during a public gathering in Aloosa block.
He said that new entrants resolved to work for the welfare of the people and further strengthen the party at the grassroots level.
