Shopian, Nov 10 : Fresh firing resumed between militants and goverment forces in Kutpora area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
A senior Police officer told Kashmir Despatch that fresh firing resumed at the encounter spot when searches were underway, he however said that sofar no militant has been killed.
Earlier, a joint team of Army’s 34 RR, SOG and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Kutpora Shopian following inputs about the presence of some militants.
Local reports said three militants are believed to be trapped in the area, families were also called to offer them surrender however till this report was filled no such development took place.
