Shopkeeper tested COVID-19 Positive continued to run his shop booked in Ganderbal

GANDERBAL : In order to make District Ganderbal Covid-19 free Ganderbal Police is continuing its efforts to stop the spread of disease to large extent. In this context, Ganderbal Police booked a shopkeeper namely Jalal-ud-din Najar S/O Mohammad Sidiq Najar R/O Giraj Ganderbal, who despite being Covid-l9 positive patient violated the SOPs / Guidelines issued by the District Administration and opened his shop at Taj Complex Beeharna Ganderbal. The said shopkeeper who as per the Directions / Guidelines had to home qurantine himself to prevent the spread of disease but he failed to do so. To this effect Ganderbal Police registerted a case FIR No. 196/2020 U/S 269, 270 IPC of P/S Ganderbal against the said shopkeeper.
Superintendent of Police, Khalil Ahmad Poswal (JKPS) taking serious note of these violations again urges the people of District Ganderbal to follow the SOP's / guidelines issued by the Administration in letter and spirit, otherwise strict action will be taken against the violaters as per the law.
