Baramulla: After the outbreak of COVID-19 in Kashmir valley, the religious group was suggested to be in self-quarantine and who else was having symptoms like COVID-19 were requested to come forward for further diagnosis and treatment.
A health official told Kashmir Despatch, after the death of the first COVID-19 case, 120 Tabligi Jamaat associates were kept under quarantine in border town Uri and samples were taken from them for diagnosis.
The doctor added on Tuesday we have received the reports of 30 members and would love to congratulate them as all were tested negative. Rest reports are awaited.
Sub District Magistrate Uri Reyaz Ahmad while confirming to Kashmir Despatch said, it’s really a great sign for Border residents and for mankind as well as this deadly virus can be defeated by taking proper measures within the stipulated time. He said today 30 persons were shown way back to their homes.
