Sopore girl made it to IIT- Hyderabad

Sopore : Saima Hamid, who hails from Sopore has made it to Indian Institute of Technology-Hyderabad, one of the prestigious institutes of India.

In January 2021, she got selected in the institute and is doing her Ph.D in the domain of VLSI and Microelectronics under MHRD fellowship.

A young girl from Model town area of Sopore completed her schooling from Model Public school and went to pursue her B.Tech from Jammu University.
She completed her M.tech program in Device Modelling of MIM diodes for high frequency rectification from Jamia Millia islamia,New Delhi.

Saima also worked as a Lecturer in GCET Kashmir for an year or so.

In a message to youth of Kashmir, Saima said, “IIT is a dream of every engineering student.It is the vision,hard work and consistency which derive you towards your dreams.The gap between the life you are living and the life you want is all set by the choices you make. So walk an extra mile and see the world un-crowded.”
