The Sopore town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district witnessed a musical festival here with hundreds of youth participating with great enthusiasm.
The Jashn-e-Sopore, a musical festival was held by the Rashtriya Rifles unit of Sopore with the help of the locals. Both young and old people participated in great numbers.
Sopore hosted the music festival with the theme Jashn-e-Sopore in order to give the young people a stage on which to display their abilities.
More than 400 young people from Sopore, according to the organisers, attended the event. Students from GDC, Sopore, eight different schools, as well as six soloists and ensembles, participated in the event.
The children and youth performed a variety of musical pieces during the programme, and some folk dance and cultural dances were also performed as per Kashmir Despatch Correspondent.
Students expressed their enjoyment of the programme and noted how useful it was for showcasing their talent in front of a large audience.

The participants congratulated the organisers since it served as a stress reliever for the continuously stressed residents of Sopore.
They continued, “It was such an intriguing moment to be a part of the event.”
