Practical measures need be taken on war footing basis to minimise spike in covid cases and deaths :Qayoom wani

Srinagar, July 19 : Chairman jammu Kashmir Civil Society Forum(JKCSF)Abdul Qayoom wani in a press statement he said that It is the need of the hour to Convert major hotels of srinagar and other towns with proper hygienic atmosphere into quarantine centres,with oxygen cylinder facility, ventilators and doctors on war footing basis to tackle this present volatile situation and panic among people .
Wani said theoretical measures have proved failure it is need of the hour for govt to be practical and it is true that action speaks louder than words let all of us be practical in defeating covid-19 and minimise its spike in jk by putting all possible efforts and by abiding guidelines of WHO ,health experts and govt,to fight covid-19 and at the same time JKCSF leaders and activists should keep vigil on cheaters people with corrupt mind set who are always hellbent upon to tease ,cheat and loot their own people and derive sadistic pleasure out of it .
Wani demanded that Employees of health deptt ,municipal corporation ,PHE ,localbodies ,police and other relevant departments be put on red alert and these frontline warriors be given full protection ,full risk insure cover and other necessary equipments for their protection and for protection of covid patients.
Main two hospitals of srinagar should be kept covid free for common patients as the common patients are the worst sufferers for the last four months .
Wani appealed the public to avoid unnecessary outing and strictly abide by the guidelines to save themselves ,their families and other people from this dreaded disease for the sake of humanity.
