Srinagar Admin intensifies drive for strict implementation of Covid-19 protocols

Srinagar, Apr 01 : Srinagar Administration on Thursday inspected several areas in the city to take stock of the strict implementation of Covid-19 SoPs while as fines were also imposed on those found violating the guidelines.

An official from the Srinagar administration said that random inspection was held at many locations in Srinagar and fines were also imposed on those who were found violating the Covid-19 SoPs and guidelines.

“We all have to show responsibility towards the adherence of Covid-19 SoPs, everyone should understand their role towards the society”, he said.

Pertinently in view of the recent spurt in Covid-19 Positive cases and categorisation of District Srinagar in Orange Zone, Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Mohammad Aijaz Asad inspected several business establishments in Srinagar and a popular food point in Srinagar was found to have made congested seating arrangement after which the management of the establishment was directed to change the seating order in order to maintain prescribed distance under Covid-19 protocols.

A senior official of district administration Srinagar said, those who will not abide the Covid-19 protocols will be dealt strictly as per the law and may also lead to the sealing of the business unit—(KNO)
