Teachers have to attend duties only suspension of class work: Dir Edu Kashmir

Srinagar, March 11 : Director School Education Kashmir Muhammad Younis Malik Wednesday said only the classwork has been suspended but teachers have to attend their duties. 


“Classwork has been suspended till March 31 but teachers have to go schools. They have to be available in schools although there will be no classwork,” Director School Education Kashmir told Kashmir Indepth News Service.


Jammu and Kashmir administration on Wednesday announced suspension of classwork in all the educational institutions across the Union Territory from Thursday till March 31, 2020, in wake of the deadly coronavirus epidemic.


Director of National Health Mission (NHM), Bhupinder Kumar said that it has been decided that the educational institutions across Jammu and Kashmir will remain closed till March 31.
The decision according to him has been taken as a precautionary measure in wake of the deadly coronavirus epidemic.
