ADC Kishtwar appointed as enquiry officer
Srinagar, Oct 18 :- Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar on Wednesday issued a show cause notice to Tehsildar Drabshalla for falling to stop encroachment on state land.
“Whereas, repeated directions has been issued by the Govl for eviction of the illegal encroachment on the state land, besides, restricting the fresh encroachments; and time and again, meeting and directions were issued by this office for implementation of the order of the Hon’ble Courts and directions of the Govt in letter and spirit; n the receipt of the complaint through various sources regarding fresh encroachment on the state land in Drabshalla area ( Dugga Village), the report was sought from the Patwari Halqa Badhat on 18.10.2023,” reads a notice issued by Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, a copy of which lies with News Agency Kashmir Scroll.
“Whereas, after the perusal of the report submitted by Patwari Halqa concerned, it has been revealed that number of fresh encroachment are taking place in village Dugga (Drabshalla area), which is gross violation of the rules and directions issued by the Govt from time to time. The matter was telephonically discussed with you today on 18.10.2023, wherein you agreed for the fresh encroachment taken place in the said area, which shows the willful negligence on part of you being the head of the revenue administration in the area,” it reads.
“Therefore in view of the above, through medium of this notice, you are directed to show cause as to why proceeding under relevant provisions of law/rules may not be invoked against you for dereliction of your legitimate duties. The reply to the contents of this notice must be furnished to this office within weeks time positively failing which it shall be presumed that you have nothing to say in this regard and action as warranted under law shall be recommended against you.” Notice reads.
“ADC Kishtwar is appointed as enquiry officer in the matter, who shall submit his detailed report to this office within 15 days positively along with recommendation for further course of action.” It reads.
“Moreover, till pending enquiry by the ADC Kishtwar, you shall remain attached in the office of undersigned and Tehsildar Bunjwah shall look after the charge of the Tehsil Drabshalla in addition to his own duties till furthers orders,” it reads futher.
