500 gms of Charas and 50 gms of Heroin recovered.
Handwara, May 26: The Handwara police have arrested three drug peddlers, seized charas and heroin from their possession.
In a statement issued to Kashmir Despatch reads, Based on reliable information, a naka was laid at Ganapora Crossing in the jurisdiction of Police Station Kralgund. During checking one person namely Danish Farooq Mir S/o Farooq Ahmad Mir was apprehended and during his personal search 50 gms of Heroin was recovered from his possession.
In this connection case FIR No. 66/2020 U/S 8/21 NDPS 109 IPC Act has been registered against him in Police Station Kralgund and investigation taken up.
Similarly a Naka was laid at Batgund crossing in the jurisdiction of Police Station Qalamabad. During search of a truck bearing registration no Jko9B. 4743, Two persons namely Ab Rouf Bukhari S/o Manzoor Ahmad Bukhari, Shabir Ahmad Malik S/o Gh Mohdin Malik were apprehended and during their personal search 500gms of Charas was recovered from their possession.
In this context case FIR No. 51/2020 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered against them in Police Station Qalamabad and investigation taken up.
