Baramulla, May 26: The Baramulla administration has declared one village of the district as red zone and two as a buffer zone on Tuesday after a cop tested positive.
In an order copy which lies with Kashmir Despatch reads, This office order issued under endorsement No.DMILTS,COVID1,916-22 dated 31,03-2020 and in pursuance to the powers vested in me under the Epidemic Diseases Act, 1.7, the Disaster Management Act. 2005 and undo Section 144 Cr.PC. I Dr. G. N. Itoo, District Magistrate Baramulla do hereby order as under.
That the Mohallah/Pati Miragund village of Nowpora Jagir Tehsil Baramulla is notified as red zone and consequently there shall be no inward or outward movement of a, person from this Mohallah/Pati and people shall stay indoors as there ill be complete lockdown in the said Mohalla Pati.
Further. the entire village of Nowpora Jagir of Tehsil Baramulla and New Colony of Jehangirpora (Shakwara) Tehsil Wagoora are declared as Buffer Zone and inhabitants of these areas shall strictly restrict their movement and shall not allow relatives, visitors to visit their homes during restrictions.
There shall be no movement whatsoever allowed in these areas, every one shall remain indoors and venture out. In case of any emergency people can contact Mr. Altaf Hussain Lecturer HSS Zaloora (7006033768) Administrator who shall facilitate their movement or address their grievances along with mobilization of essential supplies.
Mr. Mohd Ashraf Najar Lecturer HSS Behrampora 700611911793/9596570320, shall function as Magistrate for Miragund (Red Zonal and area_s Falling within village Nowpora Jagir and New Colony of Jehangirpora (Shakwara) Tehsil Wagoora.
PRI’S, shall also come forward and support, medical staff in screening and identifying the people who have any travel hist,. They shall also coordinate with the line departments to ensure the availability of basic facilities including food grains’ LPG, medicines, etc in the Red Zone/Buffer Zone and shall promptly respond to the medical emergencies and BMO concerned shall temporarily dedicate an ambulance for the area.
For monitoring and mobilization purposes, on this account following cont. room is constituted.
Tehsildar Kreeri/Wagoora, BMO Kreeri, SHO Kreeri, Drug Control Officer Baramulla, and TSO Baramulla (c).
Any person groups, organizations found involved in breach of this order will be booked under the law on the subject the order copy reads.
