Three injured in shelling by Pak Army in Uri

Uri, May 01 : Three persons including one minor girl were Injured in a shelling by the Pakistan Army along the line of control in Uri sector of north Kashmir’s Batamulla district.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said Indo-Pak armies this afternoon exchanged gunfire along line of control LOC in Hajipeer sector of Uri.

Reports said the Pakistan Army shelled forward villages in the sector resulting in Injuries to three civilians including one minor girl.

A police officer while confirming to Kashmir Despatch said three civilians were injured in Pak shelling. He said a mortal shell from across the border hit the two residential houses at Churanda village.

The cross border shelling was continued when last reports were received.
