J-K COVID-19 tally rises to 496

Baramulla, April 25 : With the three new COVID-19 positive cases of policemen in north Kashmir’s Baramulla the toll rises to 4.
In a fresh episode three policemen of Malpora area of Sheeri belt in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday reported positive for COVID-19 indicates this deadly virus is not leaving anyone alone.
An official told Kashmir Despatch, that three positive cases of COVID-19 reported from Baramulla today all are from police department and had a physical contact with earlier COVID-19 victim.
A health official also confirmed to Kashmir Despatch and said we have initiated the process of tracking down the people who may have came in close contact with the them.
Pertinently, Valley recorded 42 fresh cases in last 24 hours taking the number of COVID-19 positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 496.
Earlier this day A 72-year-old COVID-19 patient from north Kashmir’s Baramulla district has died at a hospital here, making it the sixth death in Jammu and Kashmir due the novel coronavirus.
