Three persons injured in gas cylinder blast in Mendhar

Poonch, July 11: Three persons were injured in a gas cylinder explosion on Saturday, in Mendhar area of Poonch district in Jammu division.
Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said An explosion of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) cylinder on Saturday in Chatral village of Mendhar area of Poonch left three persons injured. However, all the injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.


The injured were identified as Kaleem Ahmed, son of Salamat Hussain, a resident of Chattral, Sheraz Ahmed son of Abdul Razaq, and Hussian, son of Mohammad Yosuf, both residents of Noral village of Poonch district reports added.


A police officer told this newspaper that a case has been registered in this regard, he said that LPG cylinder kept in a shop in Chatral village caught fire and exploded due to which three persons got injured.
