Two prominent political leaders from Sopore Join Apni Party

Srinagar, May 4 : Two Prominent political leaders from north Kashmir Sopore, Former Block President of PDP and Sarpanch Sangrama Habibullah Sheikh and Sarpanch Lalad Sopore Ghulam Hassan Khanday, on Thursday joined Apni Party during an event held at the party headquarters in Srinagar.

On this occasion, Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari greeted the two new members into the party fold, a press note issued here said.

According to the press note, while welcoming the new entrants Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari said, “I welcome you in Apni Party and I promise you that entire leadership of the party will support you in your efforts to serve the people of your respective areas. On this occasion, I want to let you know that Apni Party is committed to creating an unmatched platform that would serve the people better. Thankfully we have got experienced leaders and dedicated workers across the Jammu and Kahsmir, who work tirelessly towards our goals, which are to ensure prosperity and development of this region and to make a positive impact in the lives of the people.”

The prominent leaders who were present on the occasion included Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir, Chairman Parliamentary Affairs Committee Mohammad Dilawar Mir, General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir, Senior Leader Imtiyaz Parray, Youth leader and former legislator Yawar Dilawar Mir, District President Baramulla Khursheed Ahmad Khan, in charge of Sopore Constituency Mr. War, Zonal President Ghulam Rasool Dar, and others.
