Under-construction building sealed in Anantnag, for not obtaining valid order

Anantnag, May 20 : The administration in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district Wednesday sealed an under-construction building for not abating the valid permission from the competent authorities thereby violating the norms laid by the government for any fresh construction within Municipal limits.

In an order copy which lies with Kashmir Despatch reads, Whereas, the undersigned visited the spot and found that the contravaner was carrying out construction of the subject premises at Ganjiwara Anantnag.

Whereas, as derived from the official records / resources, it manifested that the contravener has not obtained any permission from this MC with regard to construction of the instant premises.

Therefore, in exercise of the powers vested in me under section 8 of the Control of Building Operations Act and other provisions of the Municipal Act 2000 governing the subject, Syed Yasir Farooq (KAS), hereby order sealing of the instant illegally constructed premises and place the same under the Superdari of the Station House officer P/s Anantnag.

Station House Officer P/s Anantnag shall ensure implementation of this Order and shall take-over the instant premises in his custody forthwith. During the process if any sort of hindrence / interfrence is caused by the contravener, SHO P/S Anantnag shall take necessary action under the provisions of section 188 of the Indian Panal Code 1860 Under an intimation to the office order copy reads.
