Bandipora, Aug 21 : A youth was killed after a motorcycle he was riding crashed into electric pole in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Saturday.
Reports reaching to GNS said the biker identified as Wasim Ahmad Dar son of Bashir Ahmad Dar of Checki Chandergeera was riding motorcycle (JK05-6742) hit the electric pole, resulting in critical injuries to him.
Locals and police reached the spot and evacuated him to CHC Hajin wherefrom he was removed to SMHS Srinagar for specialized treatment. However doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, a police official confirmed to GNS the youth’s death and said that a case has been registered in this regard.(GNS)
