Srinagar, May 02 : An army soldier was killed and another injured today when a grenade accidently exploded inside the camp in north Kashmir’s Karnah sector.
Giving details to Kashmir Despatch an official said during a drill a grenade which was carried by a soldier accidently exploded at Jal Post in Karnah sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Saturday.
The officer said in the incident one soldier killed while another recieved injures and was rushed to military hospital for treatment.
A police officer also confirmed this incident to Kashmir Despatch ans said one soldier lost his life who identified as . Jigender Singh while another was injured who identified as Nk. Jitendra Singh in accidental grande explosion in Karnah sector. Officer further said a case has been registered and further investigation has been initiated.
