Pulwama: Abida Maqbool, a student of Honors in Physiology at IGNOU, who hails from Awantipora tehsil of Jammu & Kashmir, became the author of her first book titled ‘The Stress’.
The 23-year-old girl resides in Shahabad village of Awantipora, who after seeing the society going through stress problems, made up her mind to author a book, “that will not totally eliminate these stresses, but somehow will help to avoid these.”
“I made up my mind to author a book that will not totally eliminate these stresses but will somehow help in avoiding these stresses. Today’s world is tension and stress bound world. Every now and then one is really bounded in problems that gave rise to different stresses,” Abida said.
She said that, “Problems and stress are like birds building nest in our minds. We can’t avoid them flying but we certainly stop them from making nest in our minds.”
“Everyday we found people committing suicides but this is not the curse of our problems. Committing suicides is not brave decision it is a coward attitude. If we study our scriptures thoroughly we found that suicide is condemned by all,” Abida added.
Pertinently, author Abida Maqbool had completed her schooling in E.M.P.S Shahabad Awantipora, where she is presently working as Teacher, besides pursuing honors in Physiology via IGNOU.
