Sopore, April 09: Family members of the nurse who had tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this week have been declared negative for this deadly virus.
A senior doctor in the department of health services confirmed to Kashmir Despatch that Husband and the Father-In-Law of the nurse who had come to contact with her before she was declared positive were put under quarantine and their tests were conducted after the mandatory period in isolation. The news about their medical reports declaring them negative for the COVID-19 has provided a sigh of relief for the entire family, relatives, and acquaintances of the COVID infected nurse.
Pertinently, the health workers including doctors, nurses, paramedics, lab technicians, ambulance drivers and the sanitation staff of the hospitals across Kashmir valley are craving for personal protective equipments, appealing the govt, to make these gears available in abundance in order to fight the battle against the deadly disease.
