BANDIPORA, Nov 05: The chief education officer in Bandipora have set up an enquiry committee of three members to investigate physical assault with student in Primary school Athwatoo in Bandipora on Monday.
An order copy available with Kashmir Despatch with order number CEO/BPR/IMW/2024/5473 reads that a three member team have been constituted to inquire about the alleged corporal punishment with a student at P.S Koli Mohalla Athwatoo in Bandipora.
The order further reads that the constituted committee will hear from both the parties and will submit his report within two days for further course of action.
Pertinently to mention a complaint have been registered by the Reyaz Ahmad lone a parent of the student mentioned his child was injured in a corporal punishment which leads several eye injury to him.
Meanwhile Chief Education Officer Bandipora Ashok Kumar while speaking with the media said that the committee headed by Principal higher secondary school Hajin added they will submit their report in two days.
A case in this regard have been registered in Police station Pathkot in Bandipora under Fir NO 63/2024 with section 115 (2),351(2) BNS of law.
