Srinagar, Dec 6 : The J&K government on Monday said administrative inconvenience is caused in ladakh as officers on repatriation leave their station or office without being properly relieved and prior to joining of their substitutes.
In terms of the provisions of Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act 2019, the apportionment of manpower has been finalized/notified vide Government Order No. 1212-JK(GAD) of 2021 dated 15.11.2021.
Besides, the employees of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir having mature stay in Ladakh are being repatriated and simultaneously, suitable replacements are being posted in Ladakh.
“It has, however, come to notice that the employees of Jammu and Kashmir being repatriated from Union Territory of Ladakh are leaving their station(s)/office(s) without being properly relieved and prior to joining of their substitutes,that has caused administrative inconvenience in the said Union Territory,” the government said.
Accordingly, the government issued instructions to the notice of all Administrative Secretaries/ HoDs/ Cadre Controlling authorities for strict compliance.
“The employees being deputed to Union Territory of Ladakh, shall be relieved immediately from their stations/offices with clear directions to report in the General Administration Department, Union Territory of Ladakh for further posting,” the government said, adding, “The employees being repatriated from Union territory of Ladakh shall follow proper procedure of being relieved by the concerned authority and should not leave their office(s)/ post(s) till their replacement(s) assume charge of the office. Such employees shall not be allowed to join in the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir unless proper relieving order issued by a competent authority in the Union territory of Ladakh is produced.”
