Sopore, June 19 : Week after militant attack in Apple Town Sopore in which two cops, two civilians were killed forces on Saturday morning launched a cordon and search operation in the town.
An official told Kashmir Despatch that following inputs about the presence of militants a joint team of Army’s 22 RR, SOG and CRPF sealed old town area of Sopore and conducted house to house searches.
SSP Sopore Sudhanshu Verma also confirmed this cordon and search operation to Kashmir Despatch and said on specific inputs about the presence of militants operation was launched.
