Sopore, May 30 : Manoj Sinha, the Lieutenant Governor (LG) of Jammu and Kashmir, visited Baramulla on Tuesday to mark the e-foundation of the installation and construction of entry gates in Sopore.
The LG inaugurated two gates, one at Amargrah and another at Model Town, aiming to enhance the infrastructure of the region.
During the visit, several significant infrastructure projects were also inaugurated by the LG.
These projects encompassed various sectors such as health, education, infrastructure, and connectivity, with a special emphasis on empowering women and youth.
The LG highlighted that these initiatives have opened up a multitude of opportunities, promoting balanced development and connecting backward areas to the mainstream.
The LG expressed his belief that the projects dedicated to the public would bring transformation not only to Baramulla district but to the entire Jammu and Kashmir region.
Following the inauguration, the citizens of Sopore expressed their jubilation and extended their gratitude to the local government administration for the successful e-installation of gateways in the town.
The implementation of these technologically advanced gateways will mark a significant milestone in Sopore’s urban development.
