Magam residents protest against water shortage

Baramulla, Jan 07 : Amid chilling winter Residents of Magam area of Tangmarg in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday protests against water shortage in the area since past week.

Reports reaching Kashmir Despatch said that scores of people on Monday hit the streets at Magam and protests Infavour of their demands.

The protestors shoted slogans against PHE department for failed to provide them regular water supply in this chilling winter.

The protesting residents said that the area is without the water from last many days, and despite repeated requests, the administration has failed to restore the problem.

Meanwhile PHE authorities assured to restore water supply in the area at earliest.
