Militant killed in ongoing Pulwama gunfight

Pulwama, Sep 27 : An unidentified militant has been killed in an ongoing gunfight at Samboora village of South Kashmir’s Pulwama District on Sunday.

An official told Kashmir Despatch that one unidentified militant has been killed, he however said the Identify of the slain militant is yet to be ascertained.

Earlier a joint team of Army’s 50 RR, SOG and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in the area following inputs about the presence of some militants.

The search operation turned into gunfight after hidding militants fired upon them.
