Srinagar : Fire engulfed several residential houses in Nehru Park area of Dalgate in Srinagar on Wednesday night.
According to Kashmir Despatch correspondent a massive fire in Dal Lake’s Nehru Park area left several families affected after fire damaged around 13 residential houses on Wednesday night.
The reason for the fire is yet to be known, but officials suspect a short circuit could have led to a spark.
Following this, fire tenders rushed to the spot and managed to put out the fire till that as many as 13 houses were completely damaged in the mishap.
There was property loss to residents but no death or injuries were caused in the fire mishap a police official told Kashmir Despatch.
Several officials from civil administration visited the area to survey the damage done and also took stock of the situation said a victim whose house was also damaged in the mishap.
